Houndoom Mutant, fresh from the lab, pads her way through the forest, expecting anything to pop out at her. Now beginning her journey, San had Swablu of Doom by her side to protect her. She couldn't wait for her first opponent to come.

Of course, with San EXPECTING something to pop out at her... nothing did. Ah, the irony. It took awhile before there was even any SIGNS of life in the tangled masses of forest. Amongst the dense canopy, a coo'ing could be heard - as if whatever it was were trying to beckon the Swablu of Doom to join it.

Ignoring the coos, San took a nice patch of grass and used it to sit down on. It was cut low, and nothing was seen in it. She released Cirro, the Swablu of Doom, so that he could get some fresh air. Afterall, this was a new environment to the little bird. Naughty Cirro hopped around a bit, only around San, though. He stayed close and in site, enjoying the scenery with his new, malicious mistress.

The crooning grew louder and surely more aggitant to Lady Houndoom. Peering out of the darkness, two clockwork eyes were visible now.

Angered and annoyed, Lady Houndoom glared down at Cirro. With evil eyes, Cirro grinned at her, and looked over at the odd, clockwork eyes peering at the two. Swablu of Doom's eyes lit up quickly, as it began to hop evily towards the eyes. He was ready for his first battle, stopping a distance away from the eyes, just so he couldn't get brutally assaulted or anything of that sort.

Clockwork eyes swiveled in their sockets, cross-eyed creature trying to play illusionary tricks against impending adversary. What the hell was this thing?!

Even more angered, Swablu of Doom lunges at the thing with beak sharpened, executing a peck attack.

Hoothoot, having succeeded in enraging the Swablu of Doom to strike first - bulged eyeballs from their sockets in disturbing antics and aimed a persuasive hypnosis towards aggitant Cirro.

Swablu of Doom managed to avoid the hypnosis, and launched a second peck attack at the annoying owl pokemon.

Hoothoot mirrored every move, taking the peck and delivering one twice as hard. Mimicry was far more annoying that incessant crooning, or even the weird cross-eyed thing.

Cirro, taking a different approach, backhops a bit, and growls at the Hoothoot, trying to drop attack.

Hoothoot, not expecting such a defensive manuver from such a hasty pokemon, was heedless to evade. Attack was lowered, and own revenge delayed.

Cirro, still backhopping, tries yet another growl, this one sounding more fierce than the last one.

Hoothoot was better prepared for this one, and merely crooned in responce. It was evidently not an offensive fighter.

Hopping back towards the fluffy chicken, Cirro went in for another peck this time, in hopes of a critical hit.
